Illustration Friday, Snap

The emotional breakdown. I recognize it from first-hand family experiences in the 1960s.

Illustration by Robert McLaughlin, completed entirely in Adobe Illustrator.

Robert, I think you must have an evil twin named Roberto Picasso. What gives?

Love the hollowed out eyes. So much going on in there. I survivied the 60's as well...or not so well?
You and I were born the same year, hence we have the same Chinese symbol, the snake. Bessssst one!

This is an interesting mask... We have phantom of the opera running here.. and its reminiscent in some respects with the hallowed eye look. Your italian is translatable.. I confess to using google to do so,... (once i figured out what language it was, (argghhh).

Okay we gotta clear this up for anonymous and perplexed.

Just like the Trinity (only not quite so divine), I have three people in my head. The Father is Robert Maclochlainn, the ancient Celtic sage. The Son is Robert McLaughlin, who sits by and listens to the voices in his head. The Spirit is Roberto Picasso, who is free to create art as He pleases.

If this is confusing to some, imagine how confused I am with this multiple personality disorder. ;>)
