I Took the Book Quiz

You're Siddhartha
by Hermann Hesse

"You simply don't know what to believe, but you're willing to try anything once. Western values, Eastern values, hedonism and minimalism, you've spent some time in every camp. But you still don't have any idea what camp you belong in. This makes you an individualist of the highest order, but also really lonely. It's time to chill out under a tree. And realize that at least you believe in ferries."

Take the Book Quiz at the Blue Pyramid.

I can see some truth in this description of my personality. However, I've never been a "hedonist" or practiced Eastern religions. I do like to weigh all ideas in the balance and see the results. I don't condemn those who think differently than I. I'm not afraid to question authority, especially those who claim divine authority.

Perhaps I "don't have any idea what camp" I belong in; yet I believe in a transcendent God who is above the intellectual/philosophical fray.

P.S. Any personality test that pretends to profile you with just 6 questions is just a gimmick, a diversion, a game. So click on the link above and have fun. If you want a true personality profile, click here. Here's a link for Dr. John Geier, the developer of the DiSC personality profile system. (And a close friend of my Dad.)
