Surrogate? I contend she is a legitimate part of the family. Have you seen David's hairy arms and legs?! That's either an ape in the family or some serious testosterone!
Mr Darwin might say that there IS an ape in the family. But I haven't seen any yet. Of course, it's been a few years since I've seen David without his shirt on, so there might be someone way up the genealogical ladder who had a lot of hair.
