Great work as always Robert!
This is quite effective. I admire your use of Bryce and Poser. Those two programs are difficult to master well and you have done just that with the striking illustration. The flash of fire adds that 'spark' of drama!

Agreeing with Michael here... first I've seen of 'smite' used in the Biblical way. Great blues and action and 3D all together.
